Ecobank Opens Beijing Office and Partners with CIPS to Unlock China-Africa Trade Payments

Ecobank has opened a representative office in Beijing and established a partnership with China's Cross-Border Interbank Payment System, directly creating new payment corridors between China and African markets including Ghana. The arrangement is assessed as reducing friction for Ghanaian businesses engaged in China-linked import and export transactions.
