GMTF and Ho Teaching Hospital Begin Construction of Volta Cardiology Centre
Ghana's Mahama is driving a multi-year strategy to reduce imported medicine dependency by expanding domestic pharmaceutical manufacturing capacity.
The Ghana Medical Trust Fund and Ho Teaching Hospital have commenced work on a new cardiology centre in the Volta Region. The development adds concrete infrastructure progress to GMTF's previously documented health sector engagement, including earlier discussions with Atlantic Lifesciences on local medicine production.
