Interpol flags East Africa's most targeted digital economies, signalling Africa-wide cyber risk patterns

Interpol has identified Kenya among East Africa's most targeted digital economies in a new cyberthreat report. The findings extend Interpol's earlier Africa-wide data showing that more than half of cybercrimes on the continent are AI-enabled, offering patterns directly relevant to Ghana's own digital economy security agencies and technology operators.
