Ghana Recruits 16,000 Health Personnel to Support Free Primary Healthcare Rollout

Ghana's Health Minister has announced the recruitment of 16,000 health personnel to support the Free Primary Healthcare programme. The mass hiring represents a concrete workforce deployment step within the FPHC rollout, which was reported to have reached 135 districts as of 9 September 2026.
