Flutterwave secures Circle Ventures investment to expand USDC payments across Africa

Flutterwave has secured a strategic investment from Circle Ventures, the venture arm of stablecoin issuer Circle, to expand USDC payment and settlement capabilities across Africa. The deal formalises a stablecoin infrastructure partnership that extends to markets including Ghana. The investment follows earlier reporting on Tether, Circle, and Ripple deepening their backing of African fintech operators.
